Hitman Contracts follows in the footsteps of its predecessors, Golden Eye: Source, and is yet another example of a high quality action game that comes packaged with a number of add-ons. Some popular additions include custom backgrounds, achievements, hit counters, and the option of fully customizing Hitman's clothing.
These add-ons will enhance the pleasure derived from this quality action game. If you have played any of the previous installments of this franchise, then you will certainly find new challenges in Hitman Contracts. A new feature in this version of Hitman Contracts is the use of the in-built sound card, which helps add to the in-game realism. The developers did not skimp on the audio department, and you will hear the sounds of assault rifles, machine gun fire, explosions, knives being shelled, cracking walls, and others.
However, the problem with many PC gamers who are still using Windows 98 is that the sound card is not recognized by this game, due to lack of updates. The sound card manufacturers are, however, providing Windows with the latest drivers and patches regularly, so this should not be a major hurdle for most systems.
Hitman Contracts, like all the other games developed by Io Interactive, is available for free on the game website. However, to play the full version, you will be required to register as a member on the site. This will entitle you to downloads and continuous updates of this title.
