Hold on to the bottom of the sticker. Slowly lower the sticker and rub it in place with a squeegee or credit card.

Start at the top middle and then the outer edges. Firmly rub the sticker in place to make sure there is no air trapped under the sticker. Repeat for each part. For best results wait 24 hours then slowly peel the clear cover off at an angle. Be careful not to pull the sticker off the surface. If the sticker pulls away from the surface repeat step 4.

Sticker Application Instructions. Once the paper has been removed start laying the banner down from center point making your way to the edge of the glass. Along the way use a squeegee wrapped in a microfiber towel to maintain a straight vertical line while moving horizontally towards the edge of the glass. Take your time with this portion, patience is key. This material is surprisingly forgiving so if you start to see a major crease forming simply lift the material off the glass and re-squeegee that portion until the even vertical line is retained.

Many of the air bubbles will squeeze out as you make more passes across the glass. This material has tiny air holes throughout so as long as the crease is not folded over itself the air bubbles will squeeze out.

Move the squeegee in a vertical direction once the banner is laid across the window, pushing towards the top seal and bottom of the banner creating as tight of a seal of the material to the window seal as possible.

This will make cutting the excess off much easier later. Make your way towards the corner of the windshield and do your best to push as much air out at the corners. I used the more fine edge of the squeegee without the towel to create a tighter seal at the edge but be careful not to drag the bare squeegee on the material as you will see scratches form immediately. This side will be slightly easier as the banner is less likely to move since the line has already been established by the first half.

Start from the center again and make your way towards the side of the windshield, maintaining a vertical line along the way. Once both sides are laid down look at the banner from all angles to ensure all of the air bubbles have been pressed out. Depending on the color ordered the material may be slightly thinner and more susceptible to stretching which will alter the line established by the placement of the first half.

Be careful not to pull on the material too much. Run the squeegee around the entire perimeter of the banner to ensure a tight fit up against the window seal. Do not touch the primer or the oil in your fingers can prevent the sealer from sticking to window or frame.

Install windshield clips. While they come in many different forms, they all attach by sliding onto the tabs on the top of the windshield socket and hammering snugly into place. Use a caulking gun to apply urethane to the window socket. Apply the urethane evenly throughout the entire frame, working quickly to prevent it from drying.

Using a V-shaped nozzle will help the urethane sits higher, forming a better seal with the windshield. Quickly put the windshield into place. Have the new windshield nearby — suction cups already attached — so that you can rapidly put it on the car before the urethane dries out.

Push it gently but firmly into the window once you have it in place. Use a knife or other long object to wipe off excess urethane. This is also a good time to push any bubbling urethane back in between the car and the windshield.

You want to create a perfect seal to keep the windshield in place and hold out rain. Replace your weather sealant and any decorative molding. Pop in your cars molding you may need to buy more and push it securely into the frame, closing off any exposed areas between the windshield and the car. Reinstall your cowl panel and windshield wiper arms.

Wait several hours for the sealant to dry before you drive the car. You want the windshield to be firmly in place before you move the car so that it doesn't pop out during an accident or acceleration. Refer to the directions on the sealant to see how long you need to wait. The tape is used to secure the windshield and keep it from sliding down or shifting side to side before the urethane cures.

Most glass installation companies recommend 24 to 48 hours before removing the tape. If a fast curing urethane has been used, the tape could reasonably be removed after 6 hours.
